Paige & Paxton Make-a-thons are intentionally crafted events where children, ages 4-7, test their mettle in Science, Engineering, Technology and Math  (STEM)   challenges based on characters and storylines from the Paige & Paxton book series.

STEM challenges are led by local scientists, engineers,  technologists and mathematicians who guide students through problem solving, scientific thinking and engineering design.

Until Paige & Paxton, make-a-thons and maker faires typically consisted of adult professionals across an array of technical and artistic industries. Paige & Paxton has reversed engineered and perfected the model for elementary school children.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A  PAIGE &  PAXTON STEM MAKE-A-THON?

Make-a-thons infuse STEM into communities, by generating excitement and appreciation of early elementary STEM  among the participating families and increasing their awareness of non-traditional career pathways.

"They had a blast and walked out of there EXCITED about the WORLD they’re going to help create! And of course THANKS to everyone at Paige & Paxton for making something so wondrous beyond words."
